Under the title “With science and knowledge, together for a clean environment,” and on the occasion of World Environment Day, which takes place on June 5, the Environmental Authority in the Kobani region, along with our university, organized an environmental forum under the title: The Environmental Forum in Kobani. The forum began with a speech by Mrs.Almaz Rumi, co-chair of the Environment Agency, and Mr.Shervan Mislim, co-chair of the University of Kobani, regarding this occasion.
  The forum later discussed several topics on environmental topics, including women and the environment, afforestation and its importance, environmental pollution and water sources and pollutants in the city of Kobani.
 At the conclusion of the forum, the most important recommendations and results were read regarding the environment and the importance of preserving it, spreading awareness about the culture of afforestation and paying attention to it, and reducing pollution resulting from various human activities.
