Duties and goals  of Kobani University 

Kobani University is the product of the Rojava Revolution that liberated society from shackles.

At the same time, it is the product of resistance against extremism and occupation of society.

Above all, the university is focused on raising the values of this revolution and this resistance.

According to this vision, it develops knowledge and science with the aim of building a free and democratic society. It also works according to a vision through which it aspires to achieve and build a conscious and educated society capable of confronting the currents that target its freedom, security and stability and seek to overcome them and subject it to its interests.

In all this, it places itself with a fundamental duty to create and live in the relationship between science and social truth.

 With the aim of students applying the information they learn in natural and social sciences programs to life, to be responsible and critical.

In this way, they will have natural strength and will be able to create at a higher and more advanced level.

The university is sensitive and respects nature, the reality of women and human rights.

It views through the prism of freedom and democracy all cultures, beliefs, colours and local and global voices, and fights for their protection and development.

It takes all of this as a way to achieve its aspirations to build a conscious society capable of resilience and to challenge all those who threaten it
