Technical Institute

The Technical Institute was established in the academic year 2021-2022. In the beginning, the institute included only two departments (mechanics - electricity), and in the academic year 2022-2023, another department was opened, which is the computer department.

Importance of the Institute:

Due to the need of the training and education authority and other institutions in northern and eastern Syria for technicians specialized in the field of computers, electricity and mechanics, the university decided to open the Technical Institute, which will be the foundation that provides education for the community, dissemination of informatics and technical knowledge in the public and private sectors, and raising the level and quality of work at the technical and technological level. This leads to our institutions keeping pace with the rapid development witnessed by the world.

It aims to:

• Prepare technicians in computer, software, electricity and mechanics.

• Prepare teachers to teach subjects related to computers, electricity and mechanics in schools in northern and eastern Syria.

Courses:

 The Institute's courses are divided into basic, major, general and specialized courses, and the content of these courses is based on academic and scientific foundations that keep pace with scientific and cognitive development.

As most of the basic, major and specialized subjects include theoretical and practical hours depending on the nature of the subject. As for the general subjects, they are common to all university institutes and faculties.
