Institute of languages

The Institute of languages was opened in 2019, with the aim of providing Kobani University students with the required levels in the field of English and Kurdish, enabling them to access the sources and references available in English, which reflects positively on his scientific and research career and expands the horizon of his awareness, and in 2021 the Arabic language was added to the institute to improve the level of students in the Arabic language through the first and second levels.

In addition to Arabic and English, Kurdish is taught to the university's teaching and administrative staff according to the internationally approved level system.

It opens the way for the inhabitants of the region to learn languages in order to deal with other countries, and also helps the student in research, study and specializations available at the university, and increases his abilities to learn about the cultures and customs of other nations and peoples.

The Institute aims to:

1- Teaching the three languages English, Arabic and Kurdish.

2- Teaching the Kurdish language to the university's administrative and teaching staff.

3- Establishing a suitable ground for the addition of other foreign languages at the Institute.

4- Developing the academic translation sector.

5- Opening the field of learning different languages for students and students at the university.

6- Providing students with the necessary amount and the required level of languages to support them in their research and academic work.
