The Institute of Legal and Administrative Sciences is one of the new institutes that were opened at Kobani University for the academic year (2021-2022).

The duration of study at the Institute of Legal and Administrative Sciences is two years in addition to the preparatory semester.

The Institute of Legal and Administrative Sciences includes a number of teaching and administrative cadres specialized in the science of law، management and scientific research, in addition to which computer science and languages (Kurdish - Arabic - English) are taught.

The importance of this institute, in which the student studies the science of law and management, comes from the scientific, cognitive and research importance, which each department or institution needs, in order to progress and develop, which reflects positively, and leads to the development of society as a whole.

The student at the Institute of Legal and Administrative Sciences learns administrative processes, such as planning, coordination, making the right decisions, how to conclude contracts, and from a legal point of view, he learns about the legal rules, and he has the ability to research the legal, financial and economic means needed to develop administrative work.

The study of legal and administrative sciences gives the student knowledge of the technical principles of administrative theories, and the explanation of their application within the framework of discretion, which does not represent a departure from the rules of law.

It aims to:

1- Forming a generation that has the ability to analyze problems, research their causes, identify alternatives to the solution, provide alternatives, choose the appropriate alternative, follow up on implementation and review the results.

2- Develops the work of human resources in government and private departments and institutions and more in the field of production and marketing.

3- Promotes the value of self-development, especially in the field of planning, organization, guidance, guidance and supervision.

4-It makes progress in society and regulates the relationship of individuals with each other, such as the relationship of the merchant with the consumer or the relationship of the institution with citizens.

Fields available to graduates of the Institute:

 The Institute contributes by qualifying students and transforming them into effective elements in administrative and legal institutions, and provides successful administrators who are able to lead institutions and apply what they have learned during the years of study, so that the field is wide to provide all institutions with qualified cadres capable of advancing administrative work and raising the level of production in them, which contributes to achieving success in administrative work.
