Graduate Institute of Educational Sciences

    The Institute’s programs in its two departments, Curriculum and Teaching Methods and Teaching Methods of English, were launched in 2023 as a result of the need of the universities of northern and eastern Syria and the education sector for academic cadres specialized in the field of preparing curricula as well as developing teaching methods for teachers and lecturers, and laying strong and solid foundations for academic work and research of a specialized nature.

Objectives:

1- Preparing cadres with an academic level in the aforementioned disciplines.

2- Keeping the student up to date with developments and developments in the field of curricula and teaching methods in order to achieve total quality.

3- Preparing educational cadres capable of analyzing and developing the various curricula in line with the education philosophy in the region.

4- Student employment of modern teaching strategies and methods, which contributes to improving the educational process.

5- Preparing researchers capable of conducting educational research, identifying problems in curricula and teaching methods, and proposing solutions to them.

6- Providing the possibility of developing new specializations or sub-specialties from previous programmes.

Departments:

1- Curricula and general teaching methods are taught in Arabic, 2 semesters of subjects and thesis.

2-  Methods of teaching English taught in English, two semesters of subjects and the thesis.
