On the occasion of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Nagihan Akarsel, a member of the Jineology Academy, an event was organized at the university that included:  

A cine-vision presentation on the life and work of the martyr Nagihan, poetry recitations by university lecturers, and, finally, a musical performance in her honor.
