The founding meeting of the Council of Universities of the North and East Syria region began today at Al-Sharq University, attended by the co-presidency of the Executive Council in the Democratic Autonomous Administration, the head of the Education Authority for the North and East Syria region, along with several administrators and lecturers from regional universities.

The program for the first day included the opening of the meeting, with speeches by representatives of the Autonomous Administration and officials, as well as the reading of the universities' philosophy, review of the draft bylaws for the Council of Universities, and discussion of proposed amendments to the internal regulations.

This meeting aims to establish a comprehensive organizational framework for the Council of Universities and to enhance coordination among academic institutions in North and East Syria, contributing to the support and development of higher education.
